Stellen Sie sich vor: Eine Patientin sitzt in ihrem Pflegezimmer, und w\u00e4hrend eine Pflegekraft neben ihr f\u00fcr ein pers\u00f6nliches Gespr\u00e4ch verweilt, stellt ein Roboter ganz selbstverst\u00e4ndlich ein Wasserglas neben sie. Die Zukunft der Pflege ist nicht mehr weit entfernt, und die Caritas ist an vorderster Stelle dabei, diesen Wandel zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/em><\/p>\n

In einem wegweisenden Forschungsprojekt arbeitet der Caritasverband der Erzdi\u00f6zese M\u00fcnchen und Freising e.V. mit dem Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) der TU M\u00fcnchen zusammen. Das Ziel: Den Assistenzroboter GARMI zu entwickeln, der Pflegekr\u00e4fte entlastet und \u00e4lteren Menschen mehr Selbstst\u00e4ndigkeit erm\u00f6glicht. Als einer der gr\u00f6\u00dften Tr\u00e4ger der Region mit 27 Alten- und Pflegehilfeeinrichtungen bringt der Caritasverband dabei umfassende Expertise ein: \u201eWir wissen genau, wo der Schuh dr\u00fcckt\u201c, so Isabella Salvamoser, wissenschaftliche Referentin Robotik in der Pflege beim DiCV M\u00fcnchen.<\/p>\n

Das Besondere: Die Pflegekr\u00e4fte sind von Anfang an als Expert*innen ihrer Arbeitswelt durch Workshops, Beobachtungen und Gruppendiskussionen eingebunden. So gestalten sie mit, wie GARMI k\u00fcnftig unterst\u00fctzen soll \u2013 sei es bei Hol- und Bringdiensten oder als mobiles Dokumentationssystem. GARMI selbst verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber fortschrittliche F\u00e4higkeiten wie H\u00f6ren, Sehen und „Denken“, z.B. durch die Integration von Large Language Models. GARMIs Entwicklung umfasst Simulation, Objekterkennung und nat\u00fcrliche Sprachverarbeitung, wobei das Design sorgf\u00e4ltig auf die Mensch-Roboter-Interaktion abgestimmt ist.<\/p>\n

Der Campus Garmisch-Partenkirchen ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt der TU M\u00fcnchen, des Caritasverbandes M\u00fcnchen und Freising sowie der Longleif GaPa gGmbH. Hier entsteht eine Vision von Pflege, Forschung und Innovation \u2013 und die Caritas gestaltet aktiv mit. Doch bei aller Technologie steht eines fest: Der Mensch bleibt im Mittelpunkt. Unser Ziel ist es, dass technische Innovation dem dient, was uns am wichtigsten ist \u2013 der W\u00fcrde und dem Wohl der Menschen.<\/a><\/p>\n
